4 Years too late....

I cant believe its been 4 good years since I last blogged. So much has happened and so much to share... In those 4 years, I have continued with my love for sewing and I also found a new hobby... Making babies!!! Since I last blogged, God has blessed my hubby and I with two amazing children. Josiah "Sy" My love child, he's fast becoming the best friend I never thought I'd have (sorry hubby you are still my number 1 bff). The kid has got so much heart and a love for music... Then Johanna "Jo" my little miss sunshine, she is simply a symbol of God's grace in my life. These kids and my hubby give me so much to live for.

One of the styles I did... I might showcase this again at the fashion show... Its one of my faves
In the 4 years I have really enjoying sewing so much that it almost became a part time job. So why return now? After abandoning the ship for 4 years? Well, I got approached by some wonderful people to showcase my designs and work I have done so it motivated me and pushed me in this direction. Truth be told, I wish i never left, I really missed this but life sometimes tends to throw you in a different direction... I keep thinking what if I had never left? But I can't live in regret, I can just try again and be committed this time around.
I made this outfit for some special girls I mentor from church

Over the next few weeks I will post my journey to the fashion show I will be preparing for and the works I have done in the past. Wish me luck and send prayers and good wishes for me. xoxoxo

A skirt that flirts around the city

this skirt was made at the beginning of summer... i love the simplicity of it... it is so chic with a boyfriend jacket and a tank top and some nice ballerina shoes.... however on this occasion, i wore it to Atlantic City on an impromptu trip with hubby.... we are so fond of that... enjoy the adventures of the flirting skirt....

the skirt goes everywhere even on the beach!

with my cousin about to go about the city...

Times a-wastin'

I can't believe it has already been three months since my last post.... where has time gone? well I have not an excuse on my mind except that i am a terrible blogger... :-(
I made a few dresses for myself and some friends to wear to a friends wedding and kinda sad that wedding season is coming to an end, I cant wait for Christmas season so that I can stitch some more.... i have made a lot of progress however with the whole sewing thing... I am now sewing for other people... how do I make time between sewing, work, and blogging? one gotta suffer and unfortunately it is the blogging part :-(
